My name is Faun Boston and I am the artist/bear maker behind Play Friends by Faun.  I have been creating/designing teddies and their little friends since 1987. 

 I have found a passion for creating these bears.  Creating a bear is very special, I love to see them come to life as I'm making them and watching their own little character emerge.

Designed especially for the adult collector, my teddy bears are created to exacting standards of craftsmanship, as demanded by the most discerning collectors. 

'A Treasure for today and an Heirloom for tomorrow'

My bears are designed and handmade by me with the finest quality German mohair, alpaca and luxury faux fur available. Ranging from 8 inches to 23 inches tall.    

I stuff the bear with clean, 100% Polyester fiber and use fiberboard joint discs with washers and locknuts. Normally I make my bears with German glass eyes and leather noses (lock set eyes and nose can be substituted upon request). Different materials are used for the paw pads such as ultrasuede and leather. And they are all created in a smoke free home. 

The use of small parts such as glass eyes means that the bears are collector's items. They are not suitable for young children
